Fun Friday: Wise Women

Thank goodness God called Wise Men instead of wise women. Can't you see it now?

All along the way they would have asked for directions and arrived on time. They would have jumped right into the middle of things helping deliver the baby, tidy up the stable, and fix refreshments for all the folks dropping in. They would have brought practical gifts that would be geared to the mother and baby; and last throughout baby Jesus' toddler years.

Oh, I'm glad God didn't call wise women.

LOL! And you know why it's said "God rest ye merry gentlemen". - all the women were too busy to rest!

Happy Friday!

I'm not real sure if I would qualify as a "wise woman" or not! I sometimes have trouble arriving on time and it's really hard for me to "jump right in" and help if I'm in a strange place. ha

Too funny Kay!

Blessings Kay...This is just too cute! I love it!

And here I felt that I was a "Magi"
not a wise gut...or wise woman but I'd truly love to be one. When I came to Mexico I adopted my name to Magi...for Margarita, it's a nick name only I spelled it like this which was wrong phonetically but
I wanted it because it stood for me as one who bears gifts...as the Magi did to Jesus and I use to do
here. Not as much nowadays.

Yet I truly get what you pointed out!

Thrive In Christ

Who I Am In Christ by Neil Anderson

For several months we will center on this book to pursue Thriving in our Christian journey.

Neil challenges us with: "Do you know who you are in God's eyes? We are no longer products of our past. We are primarily products of Christ's work on the cross. Who we are determines what we do.

You are not who you are in Christ because of the things you have done, you are in Christ because of what He has done. He died and rose again so that you and I could live in the FREEDOM of His love."

That's just the introduction. More to follow.
